Partner and co-founder of the Firm. Lawyer from Javeriana University. He has extensive experience in litigation and national and international arbitration. He has represented insurance and mining companies at arbitration tribunals in Shanghai, Singapore and London. He represents Allianz, Suramericana, Mapfre, AIG, ACE, BBVA, RSA, Generali and other insurance companies in court proceedings regarding contractual and non-contractual liability. He was member of the Drafting Commission of the national and international arbitration law (Law 1563 of 2012). He is professor of Civil Liability and Civil Liability Insurance courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Javeriana University. He is currently the Director of the Specialization and Masters of Insurance from the same University. He is national and international arbitrator of the Chamber of Commerce and member of the subcommittee of the ICC.
Armando Gutiérrez Villalba
Partner and co-founder of the Firm. Lawyer from Javeriana University. He has extensive experience in litigation and national and international arbitration. He represents Allianz, Suramericana, Bolívar, Mapfre, AIG, ACE, BBVA, RSA, Generali, among other insurance companies, in court proceedings regarding contractual and non-contractual liability. Also he represents companies from the real sector as TERPEL, COLTABACO, EQUION and others, in same kind of court proceedings. He has also acted on behalf of contractors and guarantors in administrative proceedings for declaration of defaults related with public works (Bogota- Girardot concession, Viaduct Carrera Novena in Bucaramanga and others), as well as litigation before the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction. He is professor of Administrative Law and Insurance Law in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Javeriana University. Arbitrator of the Chamber of Commerce.
